All of Garrington's search consultants live and work in the regions they serve. Without exception they all have a minimum of five years industry experience and extensive contacts to assist clients.
Nicholas Finn, London Director
Nicholas Finn is London born and bred. With a career in property spanning over 10 years, Nicholas has worked in prime London locations from St Johns Wood to Chiswick with one of London's largest sales agents, before channelling his entrepreneurial flair into establishing his own estate agency business in a sought after part of London. In recent years prior to joining Garrington, Nicholas founded and ran an asset management company serving corporate institutions and their private clients looking to sell, relocate or add to their portfolios. This wealth of experience meant that Nicholas was ideally placed to take on the role of Garrington's London Director leading and supporting a growing team whilst using his experience and extensive contacts to generate "off market" opportunities for clients. Nicholas lives in London, with his wife and their young son.
Nick Dawson, Associate
Educated at Sherborne School, Dorset and graduating from Royal Holloway College, (Univ. London) in 1996, Nick initially started work in the City as a shipbroker, before realising that property was the path and direction that beckoned. Nick has an extensive background in property working for high profile, corporate real estate and smaller independent niche companies. Having particular expertise in South West London, in prime locations such as Chelsea, Fulham and Parsons Green, Putney, Barnes and Wimbledon, Battersea and Clapham backed up with several years experience in the West End, City and Clerkenwell areas . Having worked for a decade in the residential sector, Nick has further valuable experience working in the UK and European acquisition markets for commercial and investment property and as an asset manager for significant investment funds. Nick joined Garrington in 2010 and now works in the London search team, sourcing and acquiring London’s finest homes.
Mellony Morgan, Associate
Mellony was educated at Farringtons School Chislehurst and went on to complete an MA in 2003. Beginning her career in the entertainment industry she founded a media and actors agency and worked on several productions. An opportunity was then offered to work with a group of Prime Central London magazines managing sales and special projects which included event organising. This role was ideal in developing her knowledge and contact base within the central London market. Mellony embarked on her first property venture in 2004 purchasing an investment opportunity. Through this she recognised her passion for property and that she was determined her future would be in this industry.
Her first appointment was with a well known developer in Central London working in their property management and commercial acquisitions department. More recently Mellony has enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Residential Sales Negotiator within Prime Central London including South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Mayfair, Hyde Park & Marylebone. Now armed with a wealth of experience, knowledge and contacts, Mellony eagerly assists her clients in finding their perfect home within the competitive London property market.
In her free time, Mellony enjoys cooking, visiting the theatre and restaurants.
Amanda Collings, Associate
Having graduated from London’s South Bank University in 1996 with a degree in Business and Finance, Amanda started her career with a London based publishing company before taking time out to fulfil a long held desire to travel.
On returning to the UK after 18 months away Amanda joined the marketing team of a media sales and marketing company before becoming EA to the MD. Within a very short space of time Amanda was involved in the operational running of the business and quickly honed her management skills working closely with, and reporting to, the Board. After two years she was then asked to oversee the roll out of specific projects in designated European countries.
Amanda joined Garrington in 2003, brought on board to manage the operational side of the business at a time of business growth throughout the UK. Having worked in a head office capacity for the majority of her time Amanda recently started a family and relocated to Berkshire from where she now commutes. Her role now focuses on London in developing and managing key business relationships and supporting Nicholas in managing the business.
Lisa Burton, Associate
Lisa began her property career in 1993 starting as a weekend viewings agent for a local property company, whilst studying for her degree in English & Psychology at Birmingham University. From there Lisa then initially trained as a school teacher before realising that property was her passion. With over 10 years experience working in top London agencies all over West and North London, Lisa then went on to work for the conveyancing department of a London Law firm specialising in property liaising between estate agents, vendors and purchasers to ensure a smooth sales transaction in the quickest possible time and with the minimum of fuss. Before joining Garrington Lisa was the sales and marketing manager for a private city banking institution arranging short term finance for investors, developers and other property professionals, from auction purchases to portfolio acquisitions. Her rich and diverse career couple with her extensive property experience means she is ideally placed to best guide and inform Garrington clients on every aspect of their search and property purchase. Lisa lives in West London with her family.
Liza Kouppari, Operations Assistant
Liza was born in Islington, N1. Shortly after finishing her education she went into the travel industry working for a specialist West End marine travel company. Liza’s high level of customer service and ability to deal with demanding business clients lead to a move to an in-house position as a Senior Business House Consultant for a large city based American Insurance Company. Starting a family meant that Liza wanted to work closer to home and took a Business House Manager role at a more locally based and well respected firm. After 15 years in the industry Liza wanted a new challenge in a different sector and took an Operations Manager role in an exciting and rapidly growing property management company. Her experience with corporate and high profile clients meant that Liza was the natural choice for the Operations Assistant role with the Garrington London team where she ensures that London client searches run smoothly and are efficiently supported.
